what is it like coming to the states by boat?

So far we have arrived in Port Angeles from Canada. New milestone: first country. we are saying here at the dock while waiting for a storm to pass. My family and I will head out tomorrow morning. We'll have to say good-bye to Archie (a seal) who has been visiting the marina here for seven years. (in return for fish of course)

I got to see him close up after he jumped up on the dock. He was disappointed that there was no fish in his bucket and he jumped back into the ocean.
Today I spent most of my day doing online homeschooling (gr.11) I mostly did history and biology. I figure I could finish my core courses (English, pre-calc ,history 12 and bio) in a few months if I submit 2 assignments a day! so far that's been going pretty well. I have 3 other electives but I'll finish those thought the year.
we head off west tomorrow before going south that should take all day. After that we'll be off shore. I will update my blog when I get service or wifi again.
Archie waves good-bye
